IMS Day 2025 Brings Together Over 250 Researchers

The second edition of IMS Day was held on 28 November at the Salão Nobre of Instituto Superior Técnico, hosted by the Centro de Química Estrutural (CQE).

The event welcomed more than 250 participants from the three research centers that make up IMS — CQE, CQC, and CIQUP — with attendance reflecting the distribution of IDIs across the centers.

Far beyond a platform for disseminating science, IMS Day fostered community building, collaboration, and engagement. All thematic lines were represented, with researchers invited to share perspectives, ideas, and showcase their work.

A particular highlight was the impressive participation in the poster session, featuring over 140 posters that underscored the vibrancy and diversity of research within the IMS community.

The gathering reaffirmed IMS Day as an event by and for the IMS community, strengthening connections and paving the way for future collaborations.

Plans are already underway for IMS 2026, promising to build on the success of this year’s edition.
